Naomi <\/strong>(she\/they) is an award-winning British-Canadian poet, science fiction novelist, verse dramatist and essayist. Her work for theatre includes the libretto for Hush <\/em>(Theatre Passe Muraille, 1990), a chamber opera co-directed by Peter Hinton-Davis which won three Dora Awards; and \u2018The Strange Wife\u2019 for 66 Books<\/em> (The Bush Theatre, 2010). Naomi\u2019s three poetry collections include The Night Pavilion<\/em>, an Autumn 2008 Poetry Book Society Recommendation. ASTRA is an adaptation of their four eco-science fiction novels Astra<\/em>, Rook Song<\/em>, The Blood of the Hoopoe<\/em> and Stained Light<\/em> which together comprise The Gaia Chronicles<\/em>, (Jo Fletcher Books\/Quercus UK\/USA). Naomi is Reader in Critical Imaginative Writing at the University of Chichester and a Fellow of the Muslim Institute. \"PeterPeter Hinton-Davis OC | DIRECTOR<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Peter<\/strong> is an outstanding Canadian theatre and opera director, playwright and educator, and an Officer of the Order of Canada. Through his commitment to new play development, queer and indigenous theatre, and revisionist productions of canonical works, Peter has significantly impacted the evolution of contemporary Canadian theatre. From his tenures as Associate Director at Stratford Festival and Artistic Director of English Theatre at the National Arts Centre, to his freelance work for the Shaw Festival, Canadian Opera Company, and more, his exhaustively researched stagings are at once visually stunning and firmly rooted in the social, cultural and political context in which they are created.\u00a0 | Peter Hinton-Davis’s website<\/a><\/p>\n

Hassan<\/strong> is an author, playwright, theatre director and founder of theatre company Dervish Produc-tions. Of his plays for Dervish, Quiet Rebels (w\/ Julie McNamara) toured England in 2022; The Crows Plucked Your Sinews (writer\/director) toured to great acclaim and was an official entry to the National Art Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa. An internationally known policymaker in the field of diversity and arts practise, Hassan was a keynote speaker at the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) conference in Calgary (2016). Director of the progressive fellowship the Muslim Institute, and senior editor on its journal Critical Muslim, he writes and lectures extensively on issues of race, class, Islamophobia and injustice. www.dervishproductions.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Isobel<\/strong> has worked across the UK theatre sector and in Australia, produc-ing and touring work nationally and internationally. For many years she was the Senior Theatre Officer at Arts Council England, leading a wave of significant developments in cultural diversity in theatre, audience develop-ment and participatory theatre. She is currently Director of On Tour Ltd., teaches at Central School on the Crea-tive Producer\u2019s Course; is an Associate with PACE (Pan-African Creative Exchange), Dervish Productions, 20 Sto-ries High, Vital Xposure and fingersmiths.
